KENNETH MARVIN PEERCY

Mr. Kenneth Marvin Peercy, age 64 of Franklin, TN passed away April 17, 2015. During his twenty nine year career in Operative Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he served as Director and other management positions in many of the surgical departments. He was a 1969 graduate of Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN. He earned a BS in Biology from Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, TN, 1973, AB in Nursing from University of Tennessee in Nashville, TN, 1978, and Master's Degree in Health Care Administration from St. Joseph's College in Windham, ME, 1999. He was a long time member of the Franklin Church of the Nazarene. He was a member of Sons of the American Colonists, Sons of the American Revolution, Magna Charta Barons and Franklin Civitan Club. Survived by: wife, Deborah  (Debbie) Nixon Peercy; son, Andrew Peercy; daughter, Margaret (John) Wilson; grandchildren, James & Elizabeth Wilson. Preceded in death by parents, Roy Marvin "Pete" and Lillian Enone Fly Peercy. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 PM Monday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Ray Couey and Rev. WILLIAM STOKES "WILLIE" WALTERS, JR. 

William Stokes "Willie" Walters, Jr. passed away peacefully at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on March 19, 1938, in Memphis and resided in Monterey for more than 20 years. Former president of Fischer Lime and Cement of Memphis, he became an entrepreneur who pursued multiple endeavors in his career. He was the proud father of four children, William Stokes Walters, III (Scooter) and his wife, Melanie, of Austin, Texas, Sarah Elizabeth Walters Cavazos (Liz) of Mansfield, Texas, the late Charles Andrew Walters (Charlie) and his wife, Missy, of San Antonio, Texas, and Barbara Lynn Walters Smith (Bea) and her husband, Roy, of Spartanburg, S.C.; and six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Walters (Emmy), Olive Millicent Walters, Melanie Lyman Walters, Amelia Elizabeth Cavazos, Katelynn Stokes Cavazos and Hunter McBee Smith. A businessman at heart with a professional drive to succeed, he had a flare for preparing fine food, enjoyed boating on any open water, loved to entertain friends, and appreciated a good party. A huge fan of Fox News since inception, Willie loved political talk shows and commentary.Willie had many friends and will be remembered for his wonderful laugh and zest for life. He will now be reunited in heaven with his father, William Stokes Walters, Sr., his son, Charlie, and many other friends and family members. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 206 W. Hoyt, Monterey, Tennessee, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Prayer Service was conducted at 4:30 PM with Dr. Charles McCaskey Officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorials may be made to the foundation or charity of one's choice.

She was born on March 6, 1955 as the youngest of eight wonderful children. Billie is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Don Hall of Monterey, TN, son Willie Joe (Stephanie) of Nashville, TN, and daughter Brianne (Dave) of Mt. Juliet, TN. Siblings Martha Shelford of Crossville, TN, Lozena Barnwell (Aubrey) of Crossville, TN, Anna Mae Elmore (Estel) of Auburndale, FL, Franklin Wyatt (Shirley) of Graysville, TN, Linda Sauro (Joe) of Wheatin, MD, Peggy Davidson (Gene) of Griffin, GA, and Janice Littrell of Mt. Juliet, TN. Honorary Sisters Pam Marie Hall, Pam (Hunka) Hall, Teena Thompson, and Carol Parsons. Hers was a life spent in the company of one loving brother and six loving sisters.
